I don't think it would be all that important to set up this service so even you can't figure
out where files came from. As long as I can show someone that when *I* access files I will
not be able to see who the sender is.

I would expect that there will be a significant range in the savviness of users.
The closer this service could resemble a drop box the better. My sense is that the
more technical the service is, less likely some individuals will be likely to use it.

I think your word and my word will be sufficient at this point when it comes to the coding
Again, I think that people are looking for some degree of anonymity because they are
afraid there might be repercussions for passing on certain documents - even though there
is no legal reason why they couldn't just hand those documents to me. That may change down the
road, but we're good for now.

I'll take a peek at PaddleOver. You've got my interest on that one

Gave PaddleOver a quick try...looks interesting, but had trouble sharing files.
But, it's late so I'll try again tomorrow. Will leave "UPDATE" section below for ref for now

Take a look at PaddleOver: http://paddleover.com It uses Bittorrent to torrent the files over, you can make any name you like to 'share' with, and they can use any name they like. Requires a plugin install.
